Greenville’s Housing Market is on Fire!

Porch.com surveyed 93 of America’s largest metro areas to assess the nation’s real estate markets. Considering factors such as price fluctuations, listing days on market, home inventory, and price cuts, Porch.com determined which metros are “hot” ad which areas are cooling off.


Out of all 93 cities studied, Greenville was the #1 hottest market, with prices rising 18% year-over-year on average and homes selling in an average of 5 days.


Greenville is not the only metro seeing increasing home prices. Despite lower inventory and a return to “somewhat normal” real estate activity, house prices continue to increase across the nation by an average of 13%. Potential buyers will be pleased to note that despite increasing prices, there has been a slight increase in the number of price cuts on listings, meaning you may not have to deal with those crazy bidding wars we experienced during the pandemic.
